| Sequence and expression analysis of a Drosophila gene product related to the tre oncogene. | We report the sequence and expression of a Drosophila cDNA that shows similarity to a portion of the tre oncogene. The deduced encoded protein, DRN-TRE, contains residues that are highly conserved across a wide phylogenetic spectrum. The temporal and spatial transcription pattern of DRN-TRE suggest that it functions in a broad range of tissues. |
